Ancient Isaiah Scroll Desk Mat — Hebrew Scripture & Dead Sea Scrolls Inspired Artwork

ANCIENT MANUSCRIPT INSPIRATION. REAL HEBREW SCRIPTURE. MODERN READABILITY.

Bring the World of Ancient Biblical Manuscripts to Your Desktop

Explore the beauty of ancient Hebrew Scripture with this Ancient Isaiah Scroll Inspired Desk Mat, featuring the Hebrew text of Isaiah presented with modern niqqud (vowel points) for readability.

The artwork evokes the extraordinary appearance of an ancient manuscript through weathered papyrus, torn fibers, missing sections, stains, cracks, and centuries of imagined wear.

Across the surface runs the Hebrew text of Isaiah 1 through portions of Isaiah 4, transforming your workspace into an immersive manuscript-inspired experience.

Inspired by the Great Isaiah Scroll

This design draws inspiration from one of the most remarkable discoveries in biblical archaeology: the Great Isaiah Scroll (1QIsaᵃ), discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls near Qumran.

Dating to centuries before the medieval Hebrew manuscripts familiar to later generations, the Great Isaiah Scroll preserves an extraordinarily early and substantially complete witness to the Book of Isaiah.

Rather than attempting to duplicate this priceless artifact, the design celebrates the world of ancient Hebrew manuscript transmission while presenting Isaiah in a form more approachable to modern Hebrew and biblical-language readers.
